Just got a LSA quote
So my local tuner just quoted me right around 8K for a LSA kit installed and tuned for my L99.
ARH long tube headers, better plugs, colder stat, X pipe, AFM disable, and tranny tune another 3K. So I'm looking around 11K. I think it might be better to just sell the car and buy a ZL1 at that point. |

Seems a little steep - it seems like when I was pricing up PD blower setups I was coming up with around $7k, so $8k isn't that much more. $3k for the ARH's and few other goodies is pretty high - I would think doing everything at once should be like $9500.
It might be a long drive from the Island - but get a quote from New Era Performance up here in Rochester, NY. I bet you'll be a few grand cheaper, and they do first class LSx work. Either way it's gonna be cheaper than buying a ZL1. What would you get for your '13, maybe $25k private party. Add in your $10k of mod money and you're still not really in ZL1 territory. Getting pretty close though, depending on what you're willing to take for miles/condition.

Yep. I'm jammed into that rock and a hard place. I've got the skills, tools, and experience to do it myself but lack the garage. I spent most of my life as a mechanic and painter.

You could possibly ship to ADM. Get a quote from Andy. He does that all the time. He is very busy, but it's worth a call to find out... Edit: Seems a bit high with parts included... -Don

You can do basically that entire list of mods yourself, S/C can be intimidating but it really is fairly simple.
If it were me I'd do it all myself and then take the car in to be tuned on a dyno. edit: just saw your comment about space to work in, surely you know somebody that has a garage or some sort of covered area?
