I was told it was $120....that's why I decided it wasn't worth the gas and admission to try to sell these. As a matter of fact, I think I was told that in this thread somewhere.
No matter, it's passed now. |

I would not have suggest selling at the track, rather at the hotel parking lot Friday night. It would have cost you a nights stay but it would have been worth it to laugh at all the hideous light shows. None the less, you're right. It's in the past. |

My newest addition
This thing is EVIL fast. Think I'm gonna have to paint it a different color just to slow it down a little. Modified by SLP and sold through the Cevy dealers. Car # 759 of 2410. It already had the STS turbo on it and 112,000 miles but I bought it from a buddy...after bugging him for the last 10 years.......he needed the money....not bad for 5 grand...what you guys think?

5 grand is a steal for that car. Not a giant fan of the LT motors, but for that price I could get over it real quick. Car looks really clean too.

Well, since the LS motors no one is really fond of the LTs....but in 96...that was the motor to have. Just a 350 with aluminum heads and fuel injection....but the turbo really makes this scream......plus its red.....the wife loves it!!! ( told her that why I bought it)

Nice buy. Jealous Now you'll have to show it off at Edgewater.
Funny, I was browsing some ads for '89 Turbo Trans Ams last night (just out of curiosity). They were asking between $16 and $22k. These of course were well preserved and documented. Really cracks me up that after producing all those huge V8's the fastest production Trans Am ever sold was a V6. Makes you wonder why they didn't throw a similar setup in the fourth gens. $$

I'd guess because in America bigger is ALWAYS better... even if it isn't.
A V6 faster than a V8... nonsense!!! |

Changing the subject here.
On my way back from camaro5fest3 I decided to stop by my old hometown of Fairborn, Ohio. Grew up here in the '50-'60's. As a little kid of 6-8 years old I would walk downtown to Foy's 5&10. That's still there but everything else has not done so well. Overall I was very disappointed in the town and area. Everything seems closed up and run down. Very sad imo. Here's my Camaro outside Foys. If you don't know this store you should check it out. It definately took me back to a much simpler time. I continued onto Columbus where my father grew up and the area seems to be faring much better. |

I will be down this week to have Tracy do some more tuning. I will be at TNL for sure, not sure about test and tune yet. Supposed to go to Hardinsburg for some grudge racing this weekend. Those plans are still in the air though.
