I haven't paid for XM in a year and a half!

They offered me the free 5 months when I first got my Camaro. After that was over they started billing me and I didn't know it so I called and complained. They removed the charges and when I wanted to cancel my service, they offered me another 5 months free! After the free 5 months was over I threatened to cancel again and they offered me another 5 months. Ha ha!!

I'm not sure how long this will last but sweet! I'm still debating if it's worth paying for in the first place.

I have found the easiest thing to do with them is give them a credit card after you negotiate your best price, but what I do is generate an internet only credit card that I can set the limit on. That way if they tell me it is $25.00, I make the limit $26.00 and then when they go to charge later it declines. It's simple.

I've talked to them a couple of times recently. They're doing the $20.00 for 5 months deal, $55 for a years worth of service or $77 for a years worth of service with the best of XM.

I would pay them $1 per month for just Octane and no other stations.

I say run far away from XM. Had a subscription in my work truck. I told them I didnt want to renew the subscription and they said ok. My credit card they had on file expired that same month so I figured it would be fine. A couple months later I got a bill for the subscription plus a late fee plus am expired credit card fee. I called them to fight it because I had been told my subscription was cancelled. It took 5 phone calls. 4 of them I waited on hold for an hour or had been "accidentally disconnected from their phones". Finally they agreed to drop the bill. About a month later I got a bill again from a collection agency for the same xm bill plus and even bigger late fee. Called back a bunch of times and no one would help me until I threatened to bring my lawyer into the mix to settle it and they dropped it for good. Damn crooks.
I also seen on aol in December that XM/Sirius was on the top ten list of companies to go out of business in 2011. Another reason to stay away. If you have am iPhone or some other smart phone try pandora. Even better than xm and it's free.

150 for the year for me and my wife's cars. So that comes out to 6.25 each radio per month.
