electric blower/supercharger blows up engine

check this out from another forum,,lol,,,, someone purchased one of the electric superchargers/blowers and installed it on their 2010 camaro v6:

If he's that serious about performance why did he buy an electric POS wanna-be blower instead of bugging the snot out of LPE like Aby is doing?

It was probably that cheap turbo fan thing that just sits in the inlet. You've all seen the display on the counter at the parts store.... it's supposed to increase fuel milage and HP. He probably overtightened the clamps on it and crushed the thing.....

No... they make electric superchargers... basically a bilge exhaust fan... and yes, they tend to come apart... oops!
