I used to play Ultima Online. My character name was Hemlock. Then people started stealing my name. So I changed it to this. And now I use it on all forums and crap...

Actually, it's just a silly name I came up with for ebay about 15 years ago. I like monkeys a lot and it just seemed "right" to me somehow....

The short thing I tell people is it has to do with my lucky rubber duck.

Though the name actually originated from the days of being on the BBS's around here, when I used the name "Skuttman"

Skutt is merely my last name, and actually if you look up my real name you'll see how involved I was later with the fans of the cartoon series Mysterious Cities of Gold. (that's a whole other story)

One of the sysops (went by the name evildude, who got that name by being born on 6/6/66) gave me the name of skutt*uck

Change the asterix to the ascii character for guilders ƒ
I can't quite use that name as humorous as it is.

However around the same time, there was this girl who gave out some rubber ducks to people, and she gave me one as a "lucky duck" as I was known by the other name, the duck became known as "skuttduck"

It fits me as well, as when it comes to cartoons I like Daffy Duck over Bugs Bunny, and Plucky Duck over Buster and Babs on Tiny toons. I also like Donald Duck over Mickey Mouse.
