iPhone 1/4 Mile APP
Yeah I tested it out last night. Apparently my L99 runs a 14.0 @ 123.5 MPH bone stock!

ipod app
I have a qrt mile app on my ipod n it's pretty close. I've done 14.2 at 101. N I've tested it by going different speeds too. You might just have to calibrate it.

That's way off lol
12.8-13.2 should be the ET with a 108-112 trap speed.

There's no replacement for an actual quarter mile strip. Don't tell us where you did this, and please be safe by doing this at the track.

With how it sounds, it seems like he started going up a hill (which increased his time) and then down a hill (which increased his mph).
Sound about right? FBI agent, much? lol

Nope, I was on an old abandoned air-strip that a friend owns. I know the app is wrong. It probably does need better calibrating or something though lol.

Well, some of us don't have the luxury of a 1/4 mile strip that's near by (closest one is 2+ hours away). The only track I have that's close (~30 minutes away) is a poorly done 1/8 mile track lol.

If you want a free one, you can download BMW's M app. Details here:
http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle.../g_meter.htmll Measures only zero to 60, not 1/4 mile, but it's for free :-) |

You have to run the calibration on Dynolicious to make it accurate. Make sure EVERY measurement it asks for is at a 90 degree angle. Use a wall and table or something to help get as close to perfect angles as possible. The more accurately you calibrate it, the better the readings. When dialed in well, it was only .07s off from an official drag strip tree during a youtube review of it.
