Spray paint

Does anyone know where I can get a can of spray touch-up paint? Gonna paint front and rear bowties to match car (CGM). Does dealer sell that? All mine has is the fingernail polish style container for touch ups.

One time I had a auto paint store mix up a spray can of paint for a car I had. all i needed was the paint code. Call around and see if any in your area can do that.
Good luck!

I had to get yellow from the dealer, no auto parts store carried it. It's $12 for a small can

Go to www.paintscratch.com. I used their CGM spray can for my bow ties and engine cover. Perfect match!

I plan on doing my engine cover too, what did you order specifically from them? I'm a total paint virgin, I'd like to do it as it would have been done from the factory (maybe a different color on the center, not sure yet but definitely IBM on the sides). Did you order primer/basecoat/clearcoat?

I ordered the plastic primer, cgm basecoat, and clear coat. One can of each was enough to do several coats on both bow ties, the engine cover, and the fuse box cover. They also have bottles of clear coat rubbing compound for a few dollars. I painted the center and sides with a gloss black from Lowe's that worked great as well. I'll upload some pics in a few.

I'm by no means an expert painter, but I think it turned out pretty well. The color matches great!

I bought some from the dealer the other day. I thought I was ordering the kind with the little paintbrush, but to my surprise it was in a spray can. Factory gm touch up paint. I can't say how much it was because I have a discount account with them, but if you pay over $15 they are ripping you off. They ordered it Monday and I got it Friday.
