Ouch! Why is it always near new tires that have bad Carma and get screwed?
Was it bad in a previous in-car-nation?

That sucks. Did you get the road hazard warranty from Discount Tire when you bought the car?

i got some kinda tire & wheel warranty when I bought the car... but i dunno what its gonna do for me... I think the screw is in there on its side... so it has not actually gone all the way in... I am gonna take it across the street tomorrow over to discount tire... maybe it will bust and cause my wheel to bend just enough to not seal so warranty will replace it... oh well..

doesn't matter. discount tire will fix it for free anyways. another reason while I continue to do business with them.

Were you out at TMS on Saturday? I must have picked up a handful of nails/screws/misc metal object while in the infield. Pretty sure I saw several others picking up stuff too.

looks like, from the angle, it may not have punched all the way through

even if it did, its plugable - I only seem to get 'screwed' near the sidewall where it
can't be fixed

yeah... the screw was only into the tread... never made it all the way through... took it to discount tire and they backed it out and checked and couldn't find that it was actually punctured... so there was nothing to fix...

I guess its ok now... but my brain keeps thinking that tire is now tainted... but it does seem to be holding up so all is good...

So you got screwed, you didn't get full penetration, and you got lucky? Sounds backwards
