this guy ran a 155mph in the mile, I call this 650hp Camaro BS, and bad driving skills, plus vert and stupid wheels. No one knows the setup on the Camaro, on the other hand the bolt on GTR setups are well documented.

Then there is wheel hp vs engine hp and so on, youll never know what has been advertised here. GTR ran 186mph in the 1mile, that would require about 700bhp if im not mistaken.

Here is the Hennessey ZL1 that ran 186.6mph with Jessi Lang, taking into consideration she barely has any seat time in that thing and I really think it has a 190mph in it. GTR's are immune to driver error obviously due to the AWD and DCT.

That seems very unusual for the SS. It's too bad they don't show his speed at the 1/4 mile. Then we'd be able to judge how much power it's putting down. It could very well be traction related. That 2.5s 60' time is absolutely horrible. Even a bolt-on SS without a blower will be in the 12's.

Not only took him out of the hole, smoked him all the way. Claimed to be modded up, but at 11.50's, I think he wasted his money.

I loved every second of your run. I've ran at MIR a few times recently, but I haven't seen your 300C.

I also call BS on the qtr mile time of a 600+ car. But who knows why that happened....

Heres something that you guys might turn your head at....watch this video and pay attention....at 30-33 seconds in, theres a burnout mark that appears out of nowhere...kinda weird. There's also a Lamborghini that gets his rear diffuser/bumper ripped off at 2 mins in. (didn't mean to jack the thread)

the camaro had 22" rims and spun off the line. it is very possible that it would only run a 13 sec if that happened.

ive had a run in with a 600rwhp GTR. he took off before i did and i barley was realling him back in ........and im a 9 sec car...

GTR's are fast cars.

Fwiw.

First time i ever ran my car down the 1/4 I ran a 12.7 on street tires in the AZ heat in a manual.

And I needed a driver mod bad. Bounced the tires in first and spun em a little too much in second. Hit the rev limiter going to 4th...

Im questioning the Camaros power numbers also.

Agreed . I've spent far less than a 100k and I'd whoop on a GTR and I have done it. Now when the road gets twisty the game changes lol.

I know that lol, I wouldn't even bother with a stock gtr that's a waste of time for me. They are quick cars though but once they get rolling its anybody's game. I have put cars on a few 600 plus wheel gtrs. I can see their face as I'm pulling away looks something like this

Any other comments... I can post video if you like...
As long as we are going full retard and comparing a highly modified camaro like yours to a bolt on GTR.. A GTR just went 214 mph in the standing 1/2 mile, and has more left on the table.. The acceleration numbers from that run were insane.

I was at MIR for a track rental only. It was my one time there and i love that track. MIR and VMP are by far the best mid-Atlantic tracks for cars making big power that don't want to worry about track prep. I ran VMP until they started kicking me out for no cage. I didn't want to cut up my car, so a cage was never in the mix for me. Then I went to the Rock for most of my test and tune fun.
