JBA Shorties coming for V6

I was helping a friend at a dealership source parts for a customer yesterday. Thought I'd pass this along. JBA said they would be shipping their V6 shorties in about 2 weeks. The part # is 1816S.

shorties should not throw a CEL. I would need to look at where the sensor is located ,but guessing it is much farther down the pipe like it is on my V8.

WILD GUESS TIME... maybe 7 to 10 RWHP... Should deepen the exhaust note up a bit... Lot of room under the car so should be a pretty straight forward install...

I guess that seems fair, not a mechanic but are they easy to install? I have some tools, anything special I would need, any welding or are they a direct bolt on. I am assuming direct bolt on

It appears that the V6 uses the same cats as the SS. They should flow well enough.

I would suggest getting it welded... Nothing is going to be more annoying than an exhaust leak.
