Talking Newest addition to My family

So lots going on this weekend and I needed a little Therapy so I went and made a purchase!!! Ha Ha later that day I though oh crap he won't fit more than 6 months in Ciaran! any how... my pops has a truck and I'll have to borrow that to take him shopping, vet visits or dog parks. Unless I install a trailer hitch and find me a small trailer

Meet Titan!!!

hes's 4-1/2 weeks old and won't come home till March 7th! and I'm guessing that he will be every bit of 25-30 lbs when I bring him home as he weighs 16 lbs now. we shall see. he is a Merle Euro Great Dane.

Yep, when he's full grown, might be a tough squeeze in the 'maro.

I just found out that the La Quinta accepts pets!!! so guess who's coming to the Fest!!!
if he follows the typical Growth he will be between 65-85 lbs (25-30") I'm thinking closer to 85 ha... and most likely completely goofy looking and all legs!

What a handsome "little" fellow! Gentle Giants for sure. Loved my "Fred" and he was a Big Boy. He had his own room and would just walk up and onto the bed! Pretty freaky the first six months, they grow so fast you can hear their bones knocking around because they are so loose. One day the backend would be higher than the front and the next day it would be the reverse. Crazy how fast they grow! At full size Fred could put his front paws on my hubby's shoulders and his head was at least six inches taller than my husband.

Great dogs, definitely a great addition to the family. I had a Toyota corolla years ago and Fred had his head out the passenger back window and his tail was out the drivers back window! He weighed in at 180 pounds and looked thin, and boy did he like to eat! Good luck, love the pictures, thanks for posting!

Thanks Norma!
They are incredible, picking him was easy!! it was a little daunting at first there were 13 pups total.
I've picked and trained Rotties and Labs in the past so I did a few tale tell sounds to judge and this was the only one that came to investigate the noise! while a few jumped and ran (skittish) the others ignored... he walked straight towards the noise... put all the females back in the crate and kept the 5 males out (I didn't want a Female) hung out talked to the owners of mom, interacted with the mom Great disposition. Talked papers and the puppy checks/shots observed the puppies and then made some sharp noises again... then the smooching sound and once again this little guy came to investigate the sound instead of ignore and shy away at that moment I knew he was the one! clasped the collar around his neck and claimed him!

come on March 7th!!!!

Good tip for people. I don't know about all La Quintas, but when I've traveled with one of my dogs that's where I've stayed because they usually seem to allow them.

Congratulations. Your "little" guy made me smile. He is such a cutie and looks goofy with the big nose and small body. But he is very very cute.
