JANNETTY RACING ZL-1 NO TUNE PULLEY TESTING RESULTS

We installed ATI LSA Superdamper with interchangeable Crank pulleys 5% and 10%.

I baseline dynoed My 2013 ZL1 Auto Stock 462 RWHP 465 RWTQ 8 PSI

Added the ATI superdamper with 5% overdrive pulley Stock belt and logged 6 runs cool and hot, 495 RWHP 480 RWTQ 9.5 PSI

Removed the 5% and installed the 10% Crank pulley with a longer belt and logged 5 more runs 510 RWHP 510 RWTQ. 10.5 PSI

GM gave us a little room to play.

Here are the results.

I will be testing NO tune Cold air kits when I get back from SEMA.

Nice 45rwHP+ from a crank pulley swap. Gotta love boosted cars.

Looking forward to the CAI testing also. Will be nice if no tune is needed for pulley and CAI.

AFR is the BLACK line on the Dyno sheet boost is GREEN

I did all the testing and Logging with Truck stop 93? octane gas in the car.

There was normal knock activity that we saw with the stock pulley, and the computer learned it out with both pulleys.

Obviously with better fuel the numbers would be better but I wanted Real World DATA.

Driving the car It is so much easier to spin the tires rolling in second or third gear.

Car Pulls Very Hard considering the simplicity of this mod.

Ted.

Good information. Was this crank pulley only (no upper pulley changes)? I didn't realize the ZL1 runs that rich stock. Even with the 10% OD, it's still has a safe AFR. Can you post a pic of the damper and pulley next to the stock pulley? I would have thought you needed a shorter serpentine belt for OD pulley. Also interested in the no tune CAI.

BTW- I ran an ATI UD damper on my previous car and it was well worth every penny.
