95 Z28 Exhaust
Hi all,
I've just recently gotten into the wide world of working on cars. I have a 95 Z28 and am wanting to put a new exhaust system on it. I was curious as to what kind of exhausts ya'll had chosen and what your dyno sheets looked like before and after. I'm very serious about upping my HP, but am definitely coming from a beginner's stand point. So, any suggestions on the exhaust (or any HP recommendations) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dash |

what are you wanting to do with the exhaust? just a cat back system? or a full exhaust?
catbacks: magnaflow -- great sound, great price flowmaster --- sucks on 4th gens borla --- great sound, expensive gmmg --- same as borla headers: pacesetter--- 500 bucks for coated Longtubes and Off-road Y-pipe hooker --- great headers, added benefit of not having to remove steering knuckle to install

I have SLP Loudmouth (catback) on my '94 Z28. I love them. Not quite sure on the gains but it was pretty inexpensive at about $400 with the adapter and will set off car alarms. A very pleasing deep rumble with the 3.5" tips. Hope that helps and I believe the claimed gains are ~25-30hp (probably stretching it though) Here is a link of what it sounds like:http://good-times.webshots.com/video...ost=good-times

www.myspace.com/camarospike23 just a couple random vids of the car http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=8a23ewi&s=1 http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=8elmz9k&s=1 these two are with factory manifolds and y-pipe with a magnaflow catback. where i go behind and "adjust" the tips was my ghetto cutout. (bad band clamp that would come loose. and a quick shot after i threw on some hooker LT's and 3" ORY (still leaked cus i wasnt running gaskets on it) http://s81.photobucket.com/albums/j2...t=PICT0354.flv

Hi ..
I have a 96 Z28 with a full exhaust system. For the 'Cat Back' .. I have 3 ich Flowmaster, it really sounds great ,, in the coming days I'll provide u with a Youtube link of my car.. am just waiting to finish my college exams to upload it. For the headers .. I have Hooker Super Competition long tube.. it gives the LT1 an impressive increase of HP. Also I recommend u to get K&N Ram air with air filter.. Good luck with ur Camaro. Ayham
