If he's cool & works where you work, why not go chat the guy up & find out?

It obviously has bothered you...with regard to the mechanical concerns you could try the fuse pull but if it really seems that you've noticed for a awhile that it seems weak then I'd have the dealer check it out before you mod it. So...new tank of 93, then fuse pull, then road test, then dealer, then mods...BTW, lots of superchargers out there that do not whine much. After you do your headers, CIA, and tune the dyno run will tell you where you are at power wise...that's nice to know when you are concerned but it feeling "weaker"

If its that big of a concern put it on a dyno. Its always good to have a starting point before you start doing mods anyways.

That three foot catback is probably hurting performance.

Forget about the warranty! If you have a your car tuned by a highly-reputable shop, you should not have any kind of problems that would make you need to use your warranty. Being careless with your car after a tune, however...

I knew plenty of dudes in 1998-2002 Z28/SS's beating 350z's all the time. I dont see why a 350z would beat your SS. I think a 370z would put up a good fight, but you would still win.
Maybe it was just bad luck where he was in his gearing and powerband and you in yours since you were already rolling. |
