I saw someone post his 2010 stock SS LS3 ran a 12.87...I have heard high 12s are achievable .

I don't think you could get that out of a stock automatic ss though

The 2013 SS Camaros have been running pretty quick compared to the earlier cars. The electric steering and the better tune (supposedly) seems to have made up some ground. Give it a shot. Take him to the track.

12.61? You must be one hell of a driver to get that time out of a stock ss. That's really good from what I see them run around here and I don't think they changed anything from the 12-13 camaros as far as tune goes juice2ss but I could be wrong

A '13 Mustang 5.0 stick will easily beat an automatic Camaro SS if both drivers know what they're doing. Sorry, but it will. Put a set of sticky tires on the Mustang and they will run in the 11's, stock. I've seen it. I'm no Ford guy, but there's no denying in stock form those 5.0's run quite a bit better than an L99 or even an LS3.

Yea his mustang feels faster than my camaro. he said that's why he traded his 2012 ss 6 speed for it. he said he got tired of losing to the 5.0. both cars are stock.

I do now...but I know his tires are bald right now and he is slow of the light sometimes so if I can tree him and get the jump maybe I can get some bragging rights....but I hate losing as well and losing to him wouldn't be fun.

Does your Camaro have electric steering? Yes. Does it have dual mode exhaust? Yes. Does it have the FE6 suspension? Yes. Those all help out, even if its just a little on the track or in a race. Drop the tire pressure and race him on the track. His car is fast, but if he can't drive it... you can beat him.
