Owning both the 2010 SS and 2010 GT500 I say thats a huge step backwards. If yours was a 07-09 GT500 maybe just a small step backwards.

My SS had a shat ton of problems that couldn't ever get fixed so I gave up on it. It cost me... but I do love my GT500 I have now. 07 GT500 -> 10 SS I would say is a side step for the most part. Your trade offs change but I think the gains out weigh the losses. GT500 as a DD is no different than a SS to me... I wonder if the OP ever fixed the UCA's on his GT500.
