i so cant wait to get mine either i havent seen any locally yet. i hope i get mine the day after trent cause that boys been waiting 48 days now since it was built. we can go have some fun around buffalo for sure.

DarkSS, you in Chicago? Let me know if you want to meet up and I'll take some really nice pics with my Canon 30D rig. Let me know if you want to head up to GLD and make some passes. Maybe I'll have my next project by then (C6).

My dealer's car came in today - they called me at lunch to tell me the truck was just pulling in with three cars on it: I made it the 6 miles to the dealership in 4 minutes...in an Escalade ESV...in city traffic. They had two red RS and a black 1 LT with polished wheels. The dealer received the red RS. I am in love. The dealership was basically all standing around the transporter checking out the three on the truck, and people were driving around the truck like it was a feeding frenzy - and this was at the REAR of the dealer lot - way off the road.

People are excited about this car - it is great to see that passion at a GM dealership again. We made up our minds - we gotta have one! Anyone want to buy an XLR??

I live in San Jose too! I ordered my 1ss from courtesy chevrolet on stevens creek. When did you get yours? What dealership did you get yours from? I was #16 on an allocation of 32. I am graduating at the end of may and it is my birthday at the same time. I would love to get my car by that!

Sounds good John. I want to get a few more miles on it before I take down the track but a photo shoot would be nice.

I think a cool plate for a black ss would be DARK SSIDE, i kinda like it lol Cant wait to get my car, everyday i have someone asking "When are you going to get your car?"
