Need how to on removing the dash strips (trim)

search is not being my friend right now...

Do they just pop off with gentle pressure?

Think he means the colored strip of plastic across the dash board that the ambient lighting would have been in, had it not been cancelled....but no, I don't know how to remove it.

The dash pieces just pull off. Start with the small piece on the drivers side and pull straight out towards you. Not the same for the doors. You must remove the door panels from the door to access from the back.

This, tyvm, I figured the were snap in, but was reluctant to jsut yank and find out.


The door pieces I saw when I got my tint, I should have taken a picture for everyone to use, but did not have a camera handy.

Don't go pulling stuff off over and over again though...dash pieces weren't really meant to be removed and replaced several times and things don't always go back as nicely as they did once removed.

You wouldn't want a rattly interior would you?

You have to push them up and out at the same time. I will have some pics for you this weekend of what the clips look like on the back of the strips.
