No reason to believe they're not real. Think about it like this: there are probably around 25,000,000 Canadians with a drivers license. 8 are on the show. We all see people doing some pretty stupid things while driving every single day. And we all know at least one person who is a really bad driver. So it stand to reason that out of the millions across the country, there have to be a handful as bad as these people.

As for going straight when you need to turn, its called target fixation. People tend to drive where they look, and when there is something in front of them, they look at it. A good driver will find a way around it and drive on by. A bad driver will continue to stare at it until they hit it. Of course, there are other bad drivers for whom this doesn't apply. They're so terrified of hitting something that they close their eyes, take their hands off the wheel and brace for impact.

and that poor black first gen Monte Carlo that looked pretty clean at 1:10, make's my heart hurt since its in better condition then my black 72. I don't really car so much about denting up mass produced new car since there easily replaceable but killing classics with no re-production sheet metal available is almost sacrilege.

Also, it seems that they disabled the ABS system for one of the challenges. The idea was to get them to understand threshold braking. Why they went to the trouble of disabling ABS in the Camaro vs simply using a car that never had it in the first place I'll never know.

That camaro was used cause it was synergy green! If it was a better color they would of treated it with respect
