4-way stop right-of-way

Just wondering if anyone else has this happen to them at a 4-Way stop intersection while driving the Camaro.
Seems that most of the time [not all] no matter when I get to the intersection all the other cars let me go first they even wave me through.
I guess they just want to see it go by and

Yes, this happened to us yesterday. We were out cruising around yesterday and we came to a 4/way out on a country road. We were the last car to pull up to it. The other three vehicles just sat there. It probably didn't help that hubby put the car in neutral as he pulled up to the 4/way and revved the engine. He's such a show off. So now, everyone is staring at us. We were like "Hello! you have the right away, go!" After about 20 seconds, hubby just stomped on it and went.

Most 'common folk' sadly have no clue about right of way. I had driver's ed almost 17 years ago and I still know that if two cars get there at the same time, it's the driver to the right who has the right of way. Of course, if 4 arrive simultaneously....everyone is someone's right....so it's all in who wants to be polite....or in my case, who wants to show some initiative and go first.

I usually count to 3 (what you're supposed to do when you're alone at a stop sign anyway) and then if no one has made a move...I go.

Depends on the driver. It's not necessarily the Camaro. Even when I had my Rodeo, people would occasionally let me go even though I wasn't there first.

In this town, everybody waits for everybody else no matter what they're driving. They all just sit there waving at each other to go. Then they all creep out a foot and stop at the same time, then wave again.

4 way stops/ 2 ways stops, every where I go, everyone waves me through first. Weird, ususally people would just cut me off in my Equinox.

I hate them mostly because people do not follow the rules on a 4 way stop.. too many times recently I have seen a car go when it's his turn and the car behind him go also without stopping almost hitting the car that was actually supposed to go next...

You're assuming California drivers actually stop at stop signs

I was just out getting lunch and at a T intersection.....i had the stop and the pickup across from me had the stop, but the lady coming up to the T didn't and she stopped bc she was waving me through, which clustered everything up, but its annoying bc this is how accidents happen, flattering and all, but not worth getting rear ended by someone bc you wanna stare at a car.....o well
