Both systems need the same 2 wires to go through the opening to close the top. I tirmed a little from the opening because I didn't want to pinch it down too tight. Its your choice.
I'm sure both systems work well. No need to knock either. |

I do not think anyone has knocked either system.

Have you guys actually heard one... seen lots of Vette videos, but the Camaro is different as the baffle is open at idle and a lot of other times as well. This system is more noticed on the Vettes than on a Camaro IMHO...
The only time you here a difference is when cruising steady and it's not really a big difference. You will also hear the decel pop in open mode and not so much when closed. |

You are correct, not near the difference as a Vette. I like the decel burble so I will rarely close it. Probalby only on the intterstate when the Mrs is with me. My normal routes are all 2 lane so that won't happen often. |

Using the Mild2Wild.
I'm having trouble telling the differance or knowing if it's actually engaging the baffles / working. It just seems that the baffles are always open. With the car not running but the key turned in the ignition (accesory switched on) mode I can here the relay of the Mild2Wild box click. I can here it click both on and off with the home link and the key fob. Any suggestions? Cyrus

If you keep it at about 2500 and push the button, you can hear the difference. It makes a big difference in sound when you drive around town and you can close it to take the drone out on the highway. I love it

I just installed mine this evening after waxing the car. You can definately tell the valves are open when crusing above 1000 RPM. The exhaust sounds even better now that its a little louder while crusing. It will be nice to be able to close the valves at highway speeds to prevent drone, but around town ii think I'll leave them open. Love it!

video posted showing the difference of the valves open and closed on the mild2wild.
Sounds awesome. I bet both setups sound identical. Anyone have a link to the commander setup? |
