Any regrets with long tube headers?
I have a 2014 Camaro 1LE that is my daily summer driver. I have no intention of tracking and have the factory upgrade dual mode exhaust. I was thinking of adding long tube headers, CAI, and a tune in the spring. Does anyone that has done this have any regrets? I live in Cleveland and could also use a referral on a shop to use. thanks.

You're really nearby RDP. I'm sure dynosteve would be willing to talk to you about your options in person.

My only regret was not doing it right away ... mine is a daily driver too. Get the headers, CAI, and maybe a cam down the line. The beast will wake up!

My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Love the sound and power that they added. One of the best mods you can do. I have stainless power LT's with no cats going thru NPP and it sounds awesome. I DD my car as well.
Safe to bolt on and go, but best to tune it at the same time to avoid the annoying check engine light and you will also pick up a few more HP. (Tuning will sacrifice the warranty however) |
