Dealer Jacked The Order Up
So my Black 1LE was delivered today and it was missing the sunroof I ordered!
Dealer basically said their not sure how this happened but he does know they didn't verify the invoice so its just as much their fault. So I can order again and wait 5+ weeks. Or come up with some way for them to make it up.... what should I ask for? I did find a $1000 voucher on an ad from the dealer that I'm trying to get them to honor (it says its for "in stock" sales) One smart thing they did was let me take it out for a drive......GREAT CAR! The clutch and short throw are amazing, love the NPP exhaust What else to ask for? |

The embroidered SS armrest should cover it. If you ever track the car you'll be glad you don't have the sunroof.

Ask for double the amount of the sunroof in accessories.

I agree. I didnt get the sunroof only because of the track.
Its not as a big of a deal as yours but when i picked mine up it was missing the SS armrest and the nicer floor mats. If its not a big deal to you either way just keep that one

I decided to get the sunroof because I don't plan on tracking the car. I also didn't get any LPO items since ill probably add them to the final price when the car gets to the dealer. Either way LPO items have to be installed by the dealer so if it didn't come with the car it wouldn't really matter.

Accessories are the easiest way to get them to do it. For $1000 dollar credit the dealer may spend $500. That's a good deal for them.

If you wanted the sunroof get it. No amount of freebies will make you happy if its not the car you wanted. They can always give you something for having to reorder.

Weigh how much you really want the sunroof. Most people rarely use it and you lose a fair bit of headroom in the Camaro. If its a must have. Reorder. Otherwise get some free accessories and call it good.
Personally, it wouldn't be a deal breaker but everyone is different.
