SLP rockers question

Am I correct in assumming that the LS3 Corvette rockers that are offered by SLP will fit our new LS3 Camaros?

I have a heads/cam swap planned for the first week of having my car, and I am thinking I would like to upgrade my rockers at that time also. Just need to see if that is going to work on this...

What do you think?

Are there any other good options out there? I would like to get the best bang for my buck...of course will have to do springs etc...but I will have to finalize the specs of my cam prior to final selection.
But I would definetly like to know my options besides the SLP...also will the other options need different valve covers...Thanks for the help

shouldnt need new valve covers, just keep your eyes peeled, there will be more options as the aftermarket evolves. this motor is still fairly fresh on the market, so the aftermarket needs a little time to catch up.

If you want best bang for your buck just do the cam and keep the stockers. You can get the same lift as the rockers with just the cam.

yeah, but swapping rockers is a lot easier than swapping a cam. not to mention, if ur going to swap the cam, go big or go home. cus you'll keep wanting more

Yes but he states that he is already doing a cam therfore rockers are a waste. Also with the price of cam being only a little less than a cam it really doesn't make sense anyway.

No I don't work near north point. I used to about 2 years ago.

As for the other look at the cost you only gain lift with the cam. Wy not just grind the came with the proper lift in it to begin with? High ratio rockers do nothing for duration and can often throw off geometry. Why spend the cash? The stockers are plenty reliable.

Yes but isnt the HP increase from rockers coming partially from the reduction in friction and overall weight? That is why i figured I would upgrade them..

think of upgrades as a package instead of pieces.
rather than throwing parts at the motor and hoping they compliment each other, find a company that has put together a proven package, cam head, intake, exh, whatever. If you can't afford the package, save for it.

If you go this route you generally end up paying more and getting less. Especially if you go with a big name like SLP. They give you a cam, headers and a canned tune. I bought the package as parts for my gto and saved about 1,00 bucks and got more power than the SLp package. I also got better parts. There are some smaller shops that put out cam packages that do well. I did a lot of reading and looked at a lot of dyno curves and selected a cam that gave me the power band I wanted and the drivability I wanted. In the end I ended up with an HPE cam, Patriot springs, Fast intake, ARH headers, and a Corsa catback.

I think that the higher ratio rockers are more exciting if you’re getting an auto since the L99 can’t take a bigger cam and still keep the AFM.
