Got mine up in the air on jackstands so I can spray the underside with rattle can undercoating. Maybe I otta use Plasti-Dip. Seems to be the cure for everything else (including my speedo bezel, console, tail light bezels and anything else that'll stand still long enough to get a coat.

My car has a 50,000 mile corrosion warranty, but I don't know how that's possible with so much bare metal showing underneath. Maybe it's surface treated during assembly...but the salt flats is a cruel mutha. So it'll get as much undercoating as I can give it before I run it on the salt. I'm gonna pull the inner fenders out and make sure the area under them gets sprayed too...as soon as I find my impact wrench so I can pull the wheels.

Speakin of wheels, I think I'm gonna give 'em a coat of Duplicolor Clear, since I've heard that it doesn't yellow like some clear coats. Any input?

One last thing: Photos from Speed Week are on my server at: http://www.chevyasylum.com/lsr/bsf20...w/Welcome.html

SeriouslySinning, how big of a deal was the lowering spring install? What "special" tools and equipment did you need? Thanks

We ended up buying an air powered impact wrench. This helps save alot of time but can be done without it. I rented a spring compressor from Pep Boys but didnt need it at all. Thats about it besides having the correct size wrenches for the job.

Twisted myself into the trunk to try and figure out how to remove the 3rd brake light. No success. Massage tomorrow to get the kinks out of my back now.

After market black bezels came in today.

Only noticeable difference is my bank account is $70 lighter.
