Most lsx engine components are compatible with each other within the family, but I am no expert so that being said I think it would be compatible and a nice upgrade!

Yes, if you find a bored LS1 piston that is 4.065, you can use it.....Is that what youre asking?

basically same block diff bore is all that determine ls1 2 3 . so when u order them they will ask what bore u need . the reason the list them like that is cause they can get that piston for each size

Pistons do not know what they are in. All they know are measurements and clearances. I've used Chevy pistons in a Ford before.
