Rockauto has them for $60.79.....
Yeah I think they will sell maybe 2 or 3 of these at this price. LOL
once they realize they are not moving these I bet the price will start to drop, across all vendors..... Lets hope

Wow, I just got one from RockAuto Parts this past November and paid $15 for it. Glad I got it when I did.

Got mine from Rock Auto while they were still under 16.00, looked today and they are now over 60.00! Coded today and works great, except for some squeaking while turning the key. Thanks for a great write-up, OP!

down to $48.30 on GM parts direct. I figure $30 bucks and under will make this a popular peace of mind Mod again..
Maybe a few more months and we will be there.

You forget that you have to add s&h to the gmpartsdirect.com price to get it to your door. Then it's $59.89.

Basically, still 60 bucks, even from gmpartsdirect.com.

It's been around 90 bucks list price for a while now.

I got one a few days ago for my 2015 Camaro. Works wonderfully.
It was easy to put together, you just have to keep trying a different tumbler for each slot until the key works with it, only 4 choices make it easy. The most difficult part was the retainer.
Test it, test it, test it, with the key to make sure it works before you finally put the lock in the cap.

In May 2015 it now costs $50 (with tax and shipping totals $70) at gmpartsdirect.com

Does anybody have a link from a good vendor? I can't find 23159210 for under $60. Thanks!

Try Maureen at Rodgers Chevrolet, that is where I received mine. Did this like two years ago and still working perfectly.

I followed the tutorial and it was easy, I could probably do it 3 times faster now that I have the experience. I looked everywhere online and Rock Auto had the lowest price @ $60 + $6.75 S&H. They said it had a package of assembly lube included, but it was missing. I will have to shoot some kind of compatible lube in the key hole now.
