Name some of the worst mods you seen on a camaro

Love to hear peoples opinions on this topic. Please delete if this is a repeat post. I searched it and didn't find anything close. I know alot of people love alot of the same mods but I like to know what mods you dislike or don't care for. Not trying to offend anyone just like to know what some thoughts are on this.

The metal grille that looks like a chromed screen mesh saw that on this site. The funny part is that who ever posted thought it looked good but after a few members bashed it he back pedalled claiming he posted it to show how ugly it looked, wonder if he put it on his car and was looking for approval?

Personally, I don't like lowered cars. Which is why I didn't lower mine.

But I think we can mostly all agree on the 24+ inch wheels/rims are hideous.

Like mentioned above the fake SS emblems on the V6's, and anything larger than a 22" rim. Also seen some horrible looking "ricer" body kits. Then again if thats what someone is into...well its their money.

All IMHO of course:

NO to painted-on stripes. Why ruin a perfectly good factory finish for stripes that get lost in the glare of the clear coat. Also, if you irreversibly personalize the car, you will have more trouble selling it.

NO to any under hood bling bling. It seems like just an excuse to spend money. Put the money into power if you need to spend on hidden mods (I refer to daily drivers not show queens).

NO to any chrome on the exterior of the car (especially wheels!). Chrome is for slow things like Harleys.

oh dear. good thread but i gotta be honest here because i know a lot of guys on these forums do this stuff to their cars

-really don't like the grills people put in there. i love the black grid-type grill already on the car and the ones people add are BRUTAL

-hate the little side slits people add. like when they have a black car and add the little chrome slits to the side behind the doors. UGLY

-stripes with the word CAMARO painted on. come on now we already know what kind of car it is you idiot
-any wheels over 20 look stupid
-huge rear spoiler looks terrible
-any type of body kit looks ugly. yes including the "ground effects"
-SS logos on the V6 is a great one already mentioned, thats just sad

and finally, the black bowtie add-on from chevy. i'm not a fan of leaving that little silver outline. get the thing painted all-black it looks worlds better

again it's all just one man's opinion

I can't stand the Mustang-esque louvers that some people have put on their side quarter windows. Hello Mustang II look! And, cheap wheels tend to look....cheap. I'd keep the OEM wheels over most of the cheap wheels on the market.
