Anyone have experience with any of the service departments at the dealers near D.C. in Maryland? I don't want to order until I've driven, but Koons in Whitemarsh still has allocations if anyone wants to order now. I put out some feelers asking what extra fees dealers charge. The guy from Koons didn't mention any extra markup when I responded I was interested in a Camaro.

I am #1 at Fox Chevrolet in Timonium. They just took their #2 allocation. Not sure how many they have. $500 deposit. Two of my accessories are not priced yet so I haven't gotten down to brass tacks yet. I don't expect to pay over MSRP. Hopefully take delivery in April!!!!

Just ordered from Bill Shenberger at Ourisman Rockmont Chevrolet in Rockville, MD (301-424-5900) MSRP, $500 refundable down. I did the order over the phone and can go in Saturday to finish paperwork. He still has several allocations available.

Hey Amelia, what's up? I listen to you guy's like everyone else does in the morning on my drive to work. It's normally around 6:00 in the morning, I'm in the military and work down at Martins full time. I heard you say on the radio you had one on order. What color did you order and was it a 2SS? I ordered silver ice/rs package with black interior. I too am number one with Koons in White Marsh. I was told as well that to expect the car late March or early April. Good Luck and always enjoy listening to you guy's on the radio, hope to see you on the road as we should be some of the first people to get them in Baltimore. Take care.

Hi Craig Hi Jeff!!

Yea Jeff I went in there before the "official" date and ordered my car. I heard you were in there and you sound like you are getting a sweet ride.

Here is my order 2SS/RS Rally Yellow, 21" black painted rims, Catback Exhaust, airbox, engine cover and insert grille. They are going to dealer install the Hurst Shifter and I am getting the extra speaker too. I am hoping for the SS embroidery on the black leather seats. I am also planning on a trip to Capitol Speedway and would love if you both would join me and we can see how a 1/4 mile looks! The official launch date is May 5 or 6 and we should plan on getting together and doing a Falls Road run. I have a feeling we will all have our cars before the launch as we will be the advertisng for Baltimore considering no one is spending right now. What did you guys order?

I bought at Heritage Chevy in Owings Mills, Maryland.
When I placed the order, I was told I was number 6 of 7 allocations.
Today, my dealer told me that the other 5 cancelled and I am now
order #1.

It's possible from the hotsheet that the dealer gave me that I know why the other
orders were cancelled. The sheet, dated February 26, states that the V6 models will have very limited production, the Cyber Grey Exterior Color will not be available, and the Hurst Short Throw Shifters will not be available.

It says that orders with those models or options will not be processed. Also, I think this was already mentioned elsewhere, but the ambient lighting on the door panels is standard on the 2LT and 2SS.

No the orders with the Hurst will still be processed from my understanding just nit with the shifter. I am hoping for a dealer install.

I ordered the Silver Ice (with Black Rally Stripes) 2SS/RS Automatic. Black Leather interior [Love this option in my 08 SS Impala]. I'm kinda waiting on our dealer next about the options that they would be installing.

Haven't been this excited about a purchase since the Harley!!! I'd be up for getting together.

I couldn't find any local dealers with allocations left. I went to my Chevy Guy in St. Louis at ELCO. I'm #6 there and 2 have already been picked up for production.
