What tint % did you choose?
When I finally get my car I was going to tint the windows... Its illegal here in NJ... but i tinted my current car (bmw)... I choose 20% on all windows and didnt have a prob. The front windows always look lighter because of the sun coming in the front.
So anyone that has tinted their camaro or are going to when they recieve theirs what % of tint are you/have you chosen? |

Yep ! Just left my dealer an email about it. Ceramic tint front 35 and rears 15.

I did 30 all around and it looks like 10 because the cockpit is darker than most cars to begin with. If you're between two options, go with the lighter one, especially if you're concerned with getting pulled over.

I am confused about the %.
Does % mean: % of outside light gets through or % of what is blocked appearance wise, which looks darker if you were looking at the car from the outside 15% or 30%? I feel dumb asking this especially I have had countless cars tinted. I typically just pick the tint from the samples and never bother to know the % Thanks guys. |

15% is darker than 35% the lower the number the darker it is. I went with 15% and I have to roll down the windows at night to back up oops I went to dark.
