Yeah, yeah, I know; it's metal and it won't melt, but the car is as clean on the underside as it is on the top side and it's gonna stay that way. Have you ever watched the Barrette Jackson Auction or gone to Autorama and seen a '69 Camaro displayed with mirrors on the floor showing the super clean underside? That's my car today, tomorrow and years from now. Most non-car people don't get, i.e., my mother-in-law, but certainly, you guys of all people, should understand my (sick) frame of mind? I know there are many here who's Camaros are daily drivers and I can appreciate and respect that. My first Camaro was a DD, and man, did I wish I could've stored that car. I hope I'm not coming across as condescending. If there's more than a 20% chance of rain (maybe 25%, but that's really pushing it), I'll drive my wife's CTS to Milford and still buy the drinks. One way or another, I have to show up; I promised Becky a breakfast. Alfie

Well now, how about this.
IF you lose the war... If you drive your Camaro, you buy the winning team a soda/pop. If you DON'T drive your Camaro, you buy the winning team breakfast. Huh? Sounds good to me, we'll be just as hungry as Becky...... Maybe you could just bring your Camaro on a flatbed trailer, thus avoiding getting the under carrage wet.? Heck, put both yours and Becky's on the same trailer so she won't get her under carrage wet either. Bring them both in an enclosed trailer, and they won't get wet at all. Yeah, that's the ticket...... |

Guys, we might not be able to make it as early some of you. I gotta work but gonna get out early. If you could leave some spaces open between some of our cars in the car club area that would be nice. Id like to park with the club. I should be there before 10am.

Of course, if I lose the "war", I buy the pop. However, as a fellow Camaro aficionado, you are keenly aware now badly I want to drive my Camaro to Bakers and park it with the club. Knowing how difficult this is for me, you would buy me a congratulatory pop because you were so appreciative that I would place the protection and preservation of the car above my personal gratification and self-centered ego. On second thought, make that...you buy me a congratulatory lunch! Alfie

Yes, a true classic and he wasn't the only one with that message. Man, we had great music...didn't we? Still do, thanks to satellite radio.
As for the "thingamabobs", for months, I've been dragging instead of simply clicking....but you knew that. Alfie
