For parts, labor and tune (complete) I've seen $2500 as pretty typical. Can you even do a cam swap in these V6's?

Just the cams I'm retuning that Monday after I get them.done I needed a new timing chain so Im just going to do it since its right there and mace said 30 to 40 rwhp after a tune that's what they claim so I Dont no I will see. I'm spending more money then I wanted to on this car but o well I'm just having fun in will keep you guys posted will update with pics

Is it $1500 for the timing chain and the cam swap? Or $1500 in addition to the timing chain replacement?

I'd say $1500 for the cams and timing chain might be fair as you have to remove the front cover to change the chain stuff. The cams can be changed by themselves without removing the front cover with the proper tools.
