Best Clutch/Brake Fluid

Hey guys I am going to be installing my JDP separate clutch reservoir and I just wanted to get some recommendations on the best fluid to use for each the clutch and the brakes since I will be flushing both of the fluids at the same time.

Awesome, thanks, is there a place you usually purchase the Motul or is it something you pretty much have to order?

+1 on the Motul. I got some from JDP when I ordered my separate clutch reservoir from Tyler. I just recently ordered more off of Ebay to add / replace the fluid again.

I've got you beat on that one, mine has been sitting in the box since Camaro5 Fest 3 back in 2012. I actually forgot I had it until I was going through the connex box looking for parts I wanted to try and put on the camaro before C5Fest this year.

The absolute best is Castrol SRF, very spendy at over 70 bucks a pint and is overkill unless a hardcore racer. Motul will suffice

I order from amazon. I think is about 17 bucks a pint.

Thanks for the replies guys, is there anything off the shelf that you all would recommend to get by until I can get some Motul in or will any DOT4 suffice for the week or two it takes to order some up.

Won't be racing in the next couple of weeks, just dont wnt to put crap in that I have to worry about getting it all out when I switch to Motul.

We use Motul RBF 600 on all of our cars as well as our track builds including our NASA Championship Corvettes. It will definitely hold up to any kind of abuse you can throw at it.

Thanks for the support and let me know if I can answer any questions.

Best regards,

Tyler
