Subwoofer, Radar/Laser Detector/Alarm

Please do not suggest Car Toys. I abhor Car Toys, as they've F-d up my last car stereo installation and basically suck as far as customer service as far as I'm concerned.

Being in Seattle, I'm looking for suggestions of a good company that can install a subwoofer and a good Radar/Laser detector. I'm looking for something that can be installed in the grille area so it's not obvious to cops.

I'm not sure I'd really even need to install an alarm with the 2SS, but I'd love comments on what other people think.

I wont suggest car toys to you as i have had a bad experiance with them as well.

With the radar detector ,it's going to come down to how much you want to pay.MY suggestion would be the Beltronics RX75 plus . It has two laser jamming/radar detecting heads for the front (which you can mount in the grill), and one for the rear (which you can mount in the rear diffuser). The main unit is very small ,It has voice alerts that tell you the band that it's detecting and has different tones for each band as well.

it runs about $899 for the plus and $699 for the non-plus.(no laser jamming)

you may be able to find it cheaper somewhere else

Go directly to Benchmark Motoring in Bellevue. I been using them for quite some time and they do the best work bar none that I have seen in Seattle. Top notch all the way. They just did a full custom stealth system in my Holden and it came out amazing. Ask for Derek and tell him Tony with the Holden Commodore sent you.
It might cost you a few extra dollars, but I guarantee the work will be done right.

I did contact them regarding this, and I may go this route. Looks like they do REALLY high quality work, and the system I'm looking at is pretty pricey to begin with.

Escort 9500ci

And he emailed me back with a few pictures of the installs they do of this:

I have seen a couple of installs on the Escort 9500. It's on my list of future mods, and Benchmark will be doing the install.

Here is what they did in my trunk:

My goal was a complete stealth system with really tight and clear bass. They really came through. They also installed my Halos.
