One wheel peel

Someone mentioned in another thread that my rearend is cooked since i only got one wheel peel during burning the tires off once.

Have had a few other times of posi working since though.

Should i have rear end looked at or is this normal. Ground was on a slope when this happened.

I'd change your rear diff gear lube. Even with low miles, you'll be amazed how cruddy it is. As the clutches are breaking in they shed a lot of material into the gear lube. I changed mine at 500 miles and it was already mucky looking.

That will give you an idea of how bad it is. If it's just a little mucky, I wouldn't worry about it. If it is real bad looking and smells very burnt, then the clutches might be in bad shape if they were allowed to slip very long. If you ever notice only one wheel spinning, lift off right away. Because keeping that going is real tough on those clutches. There is only 1 qt of gear lube in there also. If the LSD additive is wore out, it will help to change it with fresh lube and LSD additive.

Royal Purple has a great Max Gear lube 75 w 90 with the additive already in it.
