Cruise night = wow

I took my 2SS out to our largest cruise night at the local 1/8th tonight, all I can say is wow

I knew the car would draw some attention but oh my god it was unbelieveable, people of all ages, sex, race ect ect

At times there were 30-40 people around it at once , people took pictures, posed for pictures by it, had their kids stand by it to take their pictures

One girl even took about 6 different pics posing with it

2 things everyone looked at, the engine (dont even bother closing the hood, within 60 seconds someone will ask to see it) and the wheels/tires seemed to be a big point of interest

The funniest thing was there was a Silver 2010 Camaro LT there that parked 2 cars away from me, within 5 mins he left and went to the other side of the park and parked there, guess I deflated his sails a little , no other 5th gens were present

Everyone loved it except on guy who proceeded to go on and on for 5 mins about how hes a die hard GM guy but GM missed their mark with the Camaro

Everyone said it looked much better than in pics, one teenage girl said to her friend "this is the sexiest engine you will ever see" and the other girl said disgustidly "your going to take a pic of it arent you" and sure enough

My wife said "if you dropped this car at the border of Israel and Palestine everyone would put down their guns, look at the car and realize they arent so different after all

heres some pics on a local car site-

You are right...everywhere I go I get mobbed. I am concerned about leaving it to go in a store. It's like I have to stand guard.

You gotta love the feeling when people come up to you or when you are looking outside from inside a store, and see people walking around it.

It almost gets on your nerves. I can't even go and get gas without having to spend an extra 10-minutes talking to people that want to look at the car. Not that I'm anti-social or anything....

Sweet story! I can't wait to get my Camaro for those reasons exactly! I'm going to love turning heads everywhere I go! I just hope not everybody has seen one when I get mine on the 11th.
