Might buy a 15 Camaro
Hi everyone,
I am obviously new to the forum and may stay here, however, I would like some help to understand a few things about the newer v6 camaros. I rushed in to a purchase of another car recently and really enjoy it but repair cost and the dealer aggravating me may result in trading the car in. I am going to be using the car to go to college and need the reliability(main reason for selling the "other" car). My question is, What are the major, or any for that matter, reliability/repair concerns with any trim level 2015 v6 Camaro? Is there anything that a new buyer should be aware of? Thanks, John |

Why not wait on the new one instead?

I would wait too or you might be making this same thread in 6 months after the 6th gen is on the road. I'm not crazy about them myself but I know my mind could change once they're out.

Budget is the big one. With all of the rebates i.e. GM Family, continued loyalty, and dealers trying to sell the last of the 15s the price is WAY down

Since your in Atlanta check out jim ellis. They have all of their 2015s marked down $6000.
U will be lucky to pay sticker price on a 16. I bet they will have a mark up for 6 months or so. |

The V6 is solid. I enjoyed my LFX while I had it.
Happy hunting.

Wait for the price drop on 2015 models. Once that 2016 comes out, the other values will go down a bit.

Get it! The Zeta platform is a proven winner, there's plenty of aftermarket support for it if that's of interest to you, and parts are cheap. Dealers want to move them, you can get great deals now.

I haven't any issues at all with my '13. It only has 10500 miles on it though...

I've probably made 50-60 passes at the drag strip this summer.
