TIME FOR A SINISTER HOOD
So... I am going to go ahead and take the plunge I think and order the sinister hood for my 2012 2lt. Anyone have any recommendations/discounts/etc before I do. If you don't think its a good idea... why not? Talk me out of blowing more money on this thing :thumb up:

IMHO screw the hood, spend the money on coilovers or lowering springs.

You have done a great job with your car! It looks Great! Maybe go with white painted hex vents instead?

I don't normally like painted wheels. But your ride looks fantastic, and the Sinister hood will be a great addition!

Sinister hood:
http://www.pfyc.com/SC1210.html Nice, but it reminds me of a Mustang since one of my friends has it installed on his car.

Good luck with the Sinister hood if (small word with a big meaning) IF you get it. You might look at this this post from one of our local guys who went with that hood and was very dissppointed in the fit and finish of it and couldn't really get any help on it. He finally went with MPD1 hood which they have several to choose from. Many of us have gotten Eric's hoods and or spoilers. Great work and craftmanship and you can get it painted to match or not. I know Alex, the guy who did the write up on his experience was down on the Sinister after it all went down but now loves the hood he got from MPD-1.

I put on a SS9 sleeper hood made by ACS. Got a great deal from LG Motorsports (C5 message bd sponsor).
I needed a little more room for the supercharger and wanted it to still look somewhat stock. The SS9 has a slightly bigger cowl area (1.5 inches or so), so it was just what I was looking for.
