up in the air about a trifecta tune...thoughts please

2012 2ls.

I have MRTv2 and rotofab intake. That is all.

What will a tune do for me? And is it really worth it. I have read some many posts that say it is a great and read one post from 2011 that said it was pointless. And that post has me on the fence. I would enjoy the gains but it is not a major concern. I just want to make sure when I buy something it has some kind of point ?

With those 2 mods, I'm not sure I would get a tune. Money might be better spent on ported throttle body.

The 2010 and 2011 use a different ECM (a Bosch) while your 2012 uses a Delphi which is easier to tune.

You would see nice gains with a tune.

Turnaround for the tunes is usually no more than a few hours to a day now. Well worth it.

Turn around for me with Trifecta has been at most a Day. I bought mine from Trifecta direct, I email and get a reply within a day from Vince.

Some of you need to lay off Vince, He's always done whatever I needed. I did not go through BNR so I really don't know about their turn around time.
I've got the 93 tune for the Vararam, Ported/CNC Throttlebody and between the Three I'm very happy with Nightmare.

I will stand up for Vince(Trifecta) and Tracy(RX Performance) they both have Excellant products, and if you have a problem all you have to do is call them.

Transmission tune for an automatic is a real nice. I have the Trifecta, didn't do the ghost cam as I don't have an aftermarket exhaust.

How long does it take for you to get your order from BNR on average?

I don't remember exactly, but it wasn't long. 1 week I think.
