1Le's are still an offset of the SS. The Recaro's say SS on all of the 1Le's with the Recaro's. It's a 1Le- just no vinyl matte black wrapped hood or spoiler.

What threw me off was the spoiler, it doesn't have a wrap on it, its painted, so why is the one from the show all shiny?

See my post above about the tranny....

One more thing, I doubt they only have one car for the show....most TV cars are actually several different ones, with mechanical differences based on what they need for a given scene....

Are you guys sure it isn't a ZL1?

I know that they have gloss hoods and rear spoiler. The black wheels like our 1LE is an option on the ZL1... And, the ZL1 can be had with an automatic...

Ummm not to sure about that ........they would've had to change the front clip and hood too so I'm thinking that's not very likely !

noticed also that the tires aren't goodyears.. did not have the tread they have. looking more like the pirelli's......

ok, so what is that dang car on the show? it would have to have pirellis to be just a SS, i 1LE would have GOodyears. and does Steve look like he is shifting the car? now i am really confused. i guess we all can agree its not a 1LS or LT. lol lol lol

I saw that and played it back for my wife. As to your point on the multiple cars, on the old show McGarrett had a Lincoln or Mercury (memory fading). One episode had him blowing through a barrier airborne and crashing on the beach. The regular car went up in the air but when it came down it was a Ford LTD.
