Another bubbled dash reporting in. Just noticed it on my 2012 2SS/RS vert with 1800 miles on it.

I guess since I live in FL, this is going to be a recurring issue until they have a redesign?

I apologize for the inconvenience you may be experiencing with this concern. Have you taken your vehicle to the dealership so they can address your dashboard issue? Please let me know!

I also have a new dash on order for they bubbling issue on my 45th Anniversary Camaro. It sounds like they will replace just one section of the dash, not the entire thing? I am a little afraid of a dash replacement, my car is only 6 mos. old.

I have been to my dealer too much now since i have bought this car (5 times).

Should I really take it in again for this when it seems that their current solution doesn't resolve the issue? I received a Service Bulletin to also get the Airbag issue reprogrammed. Any other Service bulletins on the 2012 I should be aware of before I go in there? I'm tired of dropping off my car.

I had my dash insert replaced and a new bubble started to form within 1 week on the new part. I live in Texas and the A/C runs full blast, so that might be causing this issue. I have worked with my dealer, and he is escalating to engineering. I am hoping Brandon see's this and can report using his channels that a new design is needed.

dont think it is caused by the AC. I never use mine and my new peice is starting to bubble a little again.

If you would like to send me your VIN, I can check to see if there are any programs or recalls out there for your vehicle. Also, once you get your vehicle serviced with the issue you are experiencing recently, please let me know if it addressed the issue. I apologize for any inconveniences you may be encountering.

Hello there again, 11BEE! I am sorry to hear about this issue that you are experiencing. I have definitely documented this into our database where many departments of GM can access the information. I am glad your dealership was able to escalate this issue for you! Also, everyone on the thread can feel free to contact me if they are having issues with this. I appreciate the feedback.

I had the new replacement trim piece installed on May 25th, and now it's back. In less than one month a bubble has appeared under the leather on the new piece. Is this just a losing battle, something that we'll have to accept and live with?
