Rather than add more banter about whether the new rear end looks like a certain 20 year old, Japanese-marque "sports coupe", I have one simple question: Does the non-RS have LED tails? I know the RS does, but I can't tell if the non-RS models do? I realize this is a small detail but I'd honestly be pretty bummed if they didn't. The base level Mustang (and Challenger, I believe) have LED tail lights and the Camaro should follow suit. I will be in the market for a 2014 or 2015 Camaro and I can only afford the LS model and dammit I want LED tails just like the number 1 rival, the Mustang.

EDIT: Also, why the hell doesn't the non-RS have HID head lights like the Mustang? This is de-contenting lower models to necessitate the existence of the RS package and I DON'T like it. LED tails and HID head lights are standard on EVERY Mustang, even base models. Chevy needs to examine the smaller details. I'm annoyed.

Non RS tail lights do NOT have LEDs.

If you've seen either a 60th anniversary Corvette or the 2013 special edition Stealth Blue CTS-v, thats the Blue leather color. The plastic trim is Stealth Blue. GM must of had leftover paint and leather from those special editions to use up.

The Challenger doesn't have LED tails at any price.

Now that its an easier swap being their not Euro taillamps, why not just swap in the RS tails on a LS? The car offers both incandescent,LED and HID options purposely. I forget what member of the Camaro team said it, but it was to give people the choice. Reason being that there is still a decent amount of people that dont want LED's or HID. Of course on a LS, Z28 or ZL1 that choice doesnt mean much because you dont get a choice, but all the volume selling 1/2 LT, 1/2 SS get to choose.

IMO - it's the license plate area that spoils the diffusers. Having 2 dissimilar materials (in different colors) come together in the middle of a WAY-oversized license plate cavern just isn't right. It looks better in black because of the color match.

I tend to like the heavier rear diffuser in general but wow, that license plate area is hard to get your eyes past.

It looks great in the darker colors...the lighter colors have too much contrast with the fascias.
