Hey bud. Think he has our (Z) Wicker on his 1LE Spoiler. We also have one that's a little smaller the (L) Wicker but think you are better off with the (Z) because you have added Aero at the front with the factory Splitter.

These are still on sale for today only 20% Off. Go to our website and enter "Black20" to get you discount

Thank you

Out of curiosity, what exactly changed in car's handling when you installed it? Were you trying to "fix" high speed handling balance? Were you trying to make it more planted at high speed than at a low speed, or was there some sort of rear end lift that was deteriorating stability as speed was increasing?

I have not taken mine to a road course yet, so I'm really curious how handling changes when speeds get properly high.

Car seems more stable coming off of high speeds into heavy braking. And I was getting less wheel spun coming out of corners hard on the gas. Or maybe I should say I could get a little more aggressive with throttle on corners exits.

The faster the speeds the more lift the car will create. The Wicker does just what it is intended to do, create more rear downforce, in turn Plants the car to the road more. You can feel it as you enter into a corner. The trick is to not create to much at the rear as this will also lighten the front end. This is why we offer a Front Splitter Extension Kit too. With both the car is a monster on turning.

We still have our Christmas specials going on our Wicker Kits. 20% off on any Wicker Kit we offer and FREE Shipping. Go to

Thanks

Interesting, this makes me wonder if something is wrong with my brake bias. Ever since I bought the car, I was surprised how much forward brake bias it has. I was able to break traction in the rear on some of the decreasing radius corners by applying light braking, but hard braking always results in the front wanting to lock up way before the rear, regardless whether it's a straight line or in a middle of a turn, and regardless how smooth I am.

Unless, off course, it's the aerodynamic lift making such a huge differences as you start going faster.

EDIT: Also wanted to ask, is there a noticeable increase in drag?

I lost right around 2 mph in the quarter mile with it on vs off. I believe it was hitting 111.8 - 112.1 mph without out the wicker. And 110.1 -110.5 mph with the wicker.

You definitely increase the drag. That's the hardest aspect of Aero. To increase downforce without increase too much drag.

I found we've lost approx 3-4 mph down the straight at Auto Club Speedway were we do most of our testing. While we lost top speed down the straights, we picked up overall lap times by almost 5 seconds per lap. This is from being able to enter the corner deeper and the added traction in the corners.

Now we just add the overall HP to gain the top end speed back and we got a car that is hard to beat out there.

Thank you

Kurt Robinson

Any chance you can do the 20% promo on the splitter and track support rods too? Do you know if there are any issues Hydrodipping the splitter and wickerbill? Was thinking about doing them to match some other parts that are getting Hydrodipped. Thanks!
