Was going to order my Amber halos for headlights/fogs, and grill illumination kit instead a guy I work with that use to have a SS /RS 2010 like mine . He sold it but kept the stereo system. So he gave me a deal I couldnt pass up(needs money badly I guess) for $200 I get the custom system he had built cost him $1500....the amp alone is worth it not to mention the custom built trunk box w/ subs, capactor, etc.

Got a call from my friend at the tire/wheel shop. He told me that the American Racing Torq-Thrust M wheels came in. Just in time cuz I'd received the TPMS sensor valve stems the day before. They're GM part # 22854866. I hot-footed it (pun not intended) down to aforementioned tire store and they installed the wheels and valve stems. I really like 'em. It might just be me, but I think they have the right proportion of old-school retro and contemporary looks.

The day before, I'd installed the paint-matched gas filler door. For something so relatively simple, it was a real pita. But it's done, it locks and the color matches just fine.

Then I headed out for a cruise nite and met Sooch and a coupla other folks...it was a fairly big event...I'd never been to that one before. A funny thing...we had Camaros lined up in a nice row with most hoods opened and across the way, a herd of Mustangs lined up. None of them with opened hoods. I'm sure there's a reason for it...or it may have been a coincidence. Beats me. Photos from the cruise are here:

They use the same throttle body whether your an L99 or LS3...
I got mine from jannetty when I had my auto and it came the same way, with LS3 on it...
