18 x 10.5 C6 Z06 Wheels

I just bought a set of 18 x 10.5 C6 Z06 wheels with M/T DR's for the rear, and was wondering if anyone knew of an offset that would fit the front and clear the brembo's with roller skates. I'd like to get the wheels to match, but the more important thing would be stepping down from 20'' stock SS/RS wheels to a lighter 18'' wheel.

Any help at all would be great.

Thanks,
-Jason

You won't find ANY 18" wheel that is going to be compatible with the front "Roller Skates". You MUST cut them off or get aftermarket brake pads (without the roller skates on them). What is the offset on those 10.5" wheels that you bought? And do they fit without any spacers?

Not exactly sure of the offset, haven't picked them up yet, but, a 5/16'' spacer is needed, but only so you clear the e-brake cable. If you tuck the cable, the spacer is not necessary.

I find it hard to believe there are no wheels out there in 18s that will fit the front... The research shall begin.

Are you sure they are 18x10.5" and not 18x9.5"? I know the 18x10.5 will not fit at all without a spacer, not even if you tie the cable back.

There are a ton of wheels that fit, you just have to swap pads.

I'm positive they are 10.5 based on the tires mounted on them.

Lots of people mount 304/45 tires on a 9.5 wheel.

^^^^True Dat^^^^........OP, look on the back of your wheels, the specs are cast into the back of the spokes, including the size and offset.

With respect to finding matching fronts, XJ and I were talking about that the other day.

I'd have some interest too but the fronts would need to match and have what a 35mm offset or something?

Yea like I said PSJ I haven't taken delivery on the wheels yet. I'll be grabbing them Friday. I'll be sure to post the offset after I get them. PSJ, you, Syck/XJer and myself can get some convo going on C5G after i get the wheels. Maybe between the three of us we can find something that will work for the front, that matches.

Found 18 x 9.5 C6 Z06 rims on Ebay in the same rim, 56 mm offset, I wonder if those would fit.
