Tuner without the tune LOL Question

Ok I dont know what you would call it but I have a 2012 2ss/rs L99.
I am looking for a device that i can plug in and place on my dash that would read only not tune (due to warranty) I want to be able to monitor my vehicle espicaaly live MPG.
Is there something out there i can use?

Scan gauge sounds like what you are looking for. Gives you access to mpg, and a lot of the OBDII required data. Can be bought on Amazon for around $150

I don't see why it wouldn't work, it just reads GM PIDs like the scangauge does. Not really anything special required to read data.
