weird feeling on my 2010 camaro 2SS
I just recently bought a 2010 camaro SS2 with 40k miles on it and I have noticed that when I'm in low gears and low rpms it sometimes feels like there is a giant weight shifting from front to back under the car (or in other words it feels like the car is rocking from front to back). Usually when the car heats up/oil temp goes up i feel this a lot less, but it still worries me. Is this just natural for a car with this much power/ with a manual tranny? Im new to driving a standard.

Sounds like you're lugging the engine. Unless you're coasting, its usually best to keep your RPMs above 1500 while cruising or accelerating in any selected gear. Whenever you lug the engine for prolonged periods of time will wear/damage engine bearings and possibly other components.

do you ever hear/feel a clunk? I had something similar feeling, but with a very audible 'clunk' noise coming from somewhere under there.
Turns out that I had a busted motor mount.... |

The LS3 has a tendency to buck when it's cold, unfortunately you just have to deal with it.
Does it seem like a surging in lower gears when it's cold? Goes away once the motor warms up?
