Question SLP Loudmouth 1 Questions!!

I'm thinking about getting the SLP Loudmouth 1 for my V6 Camaro. I was going to get the Loudmouth 2 but it's an extra $100+ compared to the Loudmouth 1.

So my question is; how bad is the drone on the Loudmouth 1? Also, I usually have the radio up so will I even hear it on the highway? Let me know and Thanks in advance.

And if you guys know anywhere to get a cheap SLP LM1 or 2 for a V6 Camaro let me know!!

I have an ss but the drone inside the car is not bad at all in my opinion. With the radio off and windows down i can still have a nice conversation with another person.

What about highway drone. I am more concerned about the drone at highway speeds.

I am currently selling my loudmouth 1 for a pretty cheap price.

In regards to the drone. I never really noticed it when I had the radio on, however, when driving without the radio (as i did with passengers) it is really noticeable.

Overall the exhaust gives an awesome tone, both at idle and when driving.

I currently have the loudmouth installed on my Camaro. The drone is never really an issue for me. It is there, but it is definitely low enough that you can have a conversation in the car or have the radio on and not really notice it. It is a great exhaust, a really love it. Puts a smile on my face everytime.

drone CAN be reeaaallllyyy terrible in 6th gear at like 60/65ish. If you have the music up a little, you wont hear it though. I am incredibly used to it so I dont mind it at all anymore. I used to though, so just dont expect not to have anything...thats all im saying.

worth it imo, I love it

I have the SLP LM1 as well. I love the sound. However, the drone is very noticeable. I have been artillery for 10 years and half deaf and it is still loud to me. Get the Magnaflow Resonated X-pipe and it will quiet it down alot.

As far as drone on the highway it is loud when going uphill and you have to put more pressure on the gas pedal. But just cruising on the highway between 65-70 it is hardly noticeable at all... until there is a hill on the horizon.

Not yet, picking one up soon though. This is just experience listening to other people on the site. They claim it will quiet some of the drone.

So I have heard. But didn't want it to cut down sound. Can't you post a before and after x pipe video?
