Service notice on DIC

I started my car after work today and saw a service tire monitor system notification. Toggled the menu and had a service theft deterrent system notification. Started heading home and all the readings for tire air pressure, temp, oil life, & voltage read 0. Got to a red light and wonder if I turned it off would it start. It didn't the first time and was thinking I might need roadside assistance. It did start after I tried again, luckily I drive by a Chevy dealership and was within a mile of it. When I got to the service dept. I shut it off and it didn't start again. Of course when the lady checks it out it starts and the DIC works perfectly. They can't do anything if it's not broke. Was fine rest of the way home and when I went to the store a little later. Anyone have or hear of this before and might it be a one time glitch or should I be very concerned? Have had my car for a year and a half and this is the first issue.

I don't know, man. When my DIC needs serviced, I usually just find a pretty lady

Sorry, couldn't resist!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that would be the first response.

Keep in mind that after a couple drinks , just about anyone meets that criteria
The problem is when you come out of it

Wouldn't any of those warnings throw a code they could look up to prove it happened?

Well, if you turn on the Camaro, and everything turns on, did everything stay on? Did anything stay on? You can get a code reader for about $65 and if you have more than one car more than worth, even read yur friends codes and help them. I have one and it also has a turn off mode to turn off lights and whatnot. It sounds fishy to me. You think it may be a fuse
going bad?

If it acts up again, grab your cell phone and record what happens. The video of the warnings plus what happens afterwards may help the SA figure out what's going on. If nothing else, they'll know you aren't imagining it!

Also, AutoZone will read your codes for free if you don't want to buy a reader.

This has happened to me before, ironically in the parking lot of a car shop. It started and came up with all the 'service' messages so I thought it was bugging out. Turned the car off and when i turned the key again I got nothing. It was like the battery had totally disconnected but yet I still had interior lights, etc. tried about 10 more times and still nothing. Waited about 3 minutes after calling a friend and saying I might need a ride and it fired right back up like nothing had ever happened.

That's what I was hoping to see, hopefully it was some time ago. No problems today to work and home. I will take pics/video if it happens again. Hopefully the planet's weren't aligned right or solar flares or something. Good to know that Advanced auto will read codes for you. Thanks for those responding with helpful input. God help you degenerates

if it happens again and you're that close to a dealership, you could leave it running so it doesn't have a chance to reset and temporarily fix itself.

True that. I will remember that, thanks.
