Lmao... It'll be fine... It'll be pulling at the leather rather than the other way around...

What's the green piece do? Is that what activated the hydraulic clutch?

Do you predict any interference with the rest of the console moving the shifter location further back? I mean, like the trim that goes around the shift boot.

Looks really good. All this new ground being covered. Truly making it your own!!

The green piece is the dust cover for the slave cylinder. Underneath it is a spring, and the hydraulic piston for clutch disengagement...

yes, the silver ring surround for the shifter will be cut and adjusted. Joe, Racer778 feels like he can fix it all to like factory with fiberglass, and im more than happy to let him go for it... The man has got skills...we have to narrow and lengthen it...

Yeah... The interesting part may be the drive shaft loop... We'll look at that some more tomorrow...it gets real crowded with the three inch exhaust pipes...
worst comes to worst... make a custom brace for the driveshaft loop... or make your own loop (might be easier than trying to make something else fit).

depends on how much you cut...

Not much in this case...

We'll probably end up fabricating a loop for the car... I'm having a new driveshaft built rather than cutting up the one from DSS.....So... If anyone is interested in a shaft from DSS... Lem'me know... LS3 manual trans shaft...Nine inch diff, 1350 u-joint

And the hydaulic fittings are used to push warm or cool fluid through to keep your drink warm or cool? That's why you cut the sheet metal, so you could reach down there and get it. Well done!

Very inventive stuff going on here.

OMG, more so than you know...

I took my drive shaft with the measurements to the place here in San Antonio, to have it adjusted... cut to length...

Their Preference was to build a new one... So...I am having a 4" aluminum shaft built for 1350 u-joints custom fit to my car... The price is right, and no complaints... though I now will have two drive shafts... Anybody want to buy a drive shaft for a 5th Gen Camaro to fit with a Strange Center Section nine inch kit...LS3... It might have 200 miles on it...

On another front, rather than packaging my old 1400 HP rated axles up and shipping then to NC... A friend of mine has offered to buy them for the same price I was going to get for returning them... So, It's a win win...
